Eastern Cape Popcru protests against charging of prison officials

EASTERN CAPE – Police and prisons union Popcru has staged a picket at the gates of St Albans Correctional Centre in Gqeberha.
It’s complaining about national commissioner Makgothi Thobakgale, who conducted an unannounced raid at the prison a week ago and caught officials coming late to work.
